Huangdi Neijing: 15 short lessons

Fifteen short written lessons from the classical Huangdi Neijing are being prepared in plain English. They will cover daily rhythm, the seasons, and hands-on care as historical notes. No video lessons are on this site. The classical text is not presented as medical evidence.

  1. Illustrated scene of a woman with light brown wavy hair, in a white shirt and sage cardigan, eating from a bowl at a light wood table in a bright kitchen. A made picture for the food lessons, not a clinical photograph.

    Food & Nourishment

Chinese food traditions often treat a warm, ordinary meal as part of daily life. These notes stay with simple cooking and kitchen safety.

  2. Illustrated scene of the same fictional woman stretching both arms overhead in a city park, wearing a white shirt, sage cardigan, and navy trousers. A made picture for the movement lessons, not a demonstration by a clinician.

    Movement & Exercise

Yangsheng is a historical word for nourishing daily life. The practices here are gentle, seated or walking, and easy to stop.

  3. Illustrated scene of the same fictional woman seated on a sofa, one hand resting on the other forearm. A made picture for the self-care lessons, not a treatment.

    Tuina & Self-Massage

Tuina is a professional hands-on tradition. These pages explain it, then teach only a short self-massage, with clear reasons to skip it.
